సార్వత్రిక ఎన్నికల వేళ కాంగ్రెస్‌కు వరుస దెబ్బలు తగలుతున్నాయి. ఆ పార్టీని ముఖ్య నేతలు వీడుతున్నారు. గురువారం ఢిల్లీలో గుజరాత్‌కు చెందిన కాంగ్రెస్ మాజీ నేత రోహన్ గుప్తా భారతీయ జనతా పార్టీలో చేరారు. బీజేపీ కార్యాలయంలో ఆయనకు కండువా కప్పి పార్టీలోకి ఆహ్వానించారు.
సనాతన ధర్మాన్ని కాంగ్రెస్ అవమానిస్తుందని రోహన్ గుప్తా అన్నారు. బీజేపీలో చేరిన తర్వాత ఆయన మీడియాతో మాట్లాడారు. రాముడ్ని కాంగ్రెస్ అవమానించడం తనకు నచ్చలేదని పేర్కొన్నారు. కేజ్రీవాల్‌కు మద్దతు తెలపడం ఏ మాత్రం బాగోలేదని అభిప్రాయం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
కాంగ్రెస్‌లో అవమానాలు భరించలేకే కాంగ్రెస్‌ను వీడుతున్నట్లు రోహన్ గుప్తా రాజీనామా సందర్భంగా తెలిపారు. రెండేళ్లు ఎన్నో అవమానాలు భరించినట్లు ఆయన ట్విట్టర్‌లో పోస్టు చేశారు. కాంగ్రెస్‌లో ఇబ్బందులు భరించలేకే బయటకు వచ్చినట్లు ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఇటీవలే బాక్సర్, ఆ పార్టీ నేత విజయేందర్ సింగ్ కూడా కాంగ్రెస్‌కు గుడ్‌బై చెప్పి బీజేపీలో చేరారు. 2019 ఎన్ని్కల్లో విజయేందర్ సింగ్ దక్షిణ ఢిల్లీ నుంచి కాంగ్రెస్ అభ్యర్థిగా పోటీ చేసి బీజేపీ అభ్యర్థి చేతిలో ఓడిపోయారు. బీజేపీలో చేరిన అనంతరం విజయేందర్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. తాను సొంతింటికి తిరిగి వచ్చినట్లుగా ఉందని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. అంతర్జాతీయంగా మోడీ ప్రభుత్వానికి వస్తున్న ఆదరణ చూసే బీజేపీలో చేరినట్లు తెలిపారు
