అమెరికా రాయబారి సెర్గియో గోర్ దేశ రాజధాని ఢిల్లీలో గ్రాండ్గా పార్టీ నిర్వహించారు. ఈ విందుకు వ్యాపార, రాజకీయ ప్రముఖులు హాజరయ్యారు. 75 దేశాలకు చెందిన రాయబారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ మధ్య భారత్-అమెరికా మధ్య జరిగిన వాణిజ్య ఒప్పందం తర్వాత రెండు దేశాల మధ్య సంబంధాలు బలపడుతున్నాయి. ప్రధాని మోడీ-అధ్యక్షుడు ట్రంప్ ఫోన్ కాల్ సంభాషణ తర్వాత సంబంధాలు మెరుగుపడ్డాయి. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో సోమవారం సాయంత్రం తన నివాసంలో సెర్గియో గోర్ విందు ఇచ్చారు. ఈ విందుకు కేంద్రమంత్రులు పియూష్ గోయల్, జైశంకర్, బ్రిటిష్ హైకమిషనర్ లిండీ కామెరూన్, యూరోపియన్ యూనియన్ రాయబారి హెర్వే డెల్ఫిన్ పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఇందుకు సంబంధించిన ఫొటోలను సెర్గియో గోర్ సోషల్ మీడియాలో పంచుకున్నారు. ‘‘ఈరాత్రి నేను భారతదేశంలో ప్రియమైన స్నేహితులు, దౌత్య సమాజం, వ్యాపార, రాజకీయ నాయకులు, యునైటెడ్ స్టేట్స్ భాగస్వాములతో కలిసి ఇంట్లో అద్భుతమైన రిసెప్షన్ నిర్వహించాను. దేశాల మధ్య కొత్త వాణిజ్య ఒప్పందం, లోతైన వ్యూహాత్మక సంబంధాలు బలపడుతున్నాయి.’’ అని రాసుకొచ్చారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా రాయబారులకు పియూష్ గోయల్, జైశంకర్ కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు.

అంతకుముందు కేంద్రమంత్రి అశ్విని వైష్ణవ్తో సెర్గియో గోర్ సంభాషించారు. ‘‘ఇది అద్భుతమైన సమావేశం. మీతో కలిసి పనిచేయడానికి నేను చాలా ఆసక్తిగా ఎదురుచూస్తు్న్నాను.’’ అని గోర్ రాశారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా సెమీకండక్టర్, ఎలక్ట్రానిక్స్ తయారీ, సరఫరా గొలుసులను బలోపేతం చేయడంపై చర్చించారు. ఏఐ ఇంపాక్ట్ సమ్మిట్ 2026లో అమెరికా నుంచి బలమైన భాగస్వామ్యం ఉంటుందని.. దేశాల మధ్య సంబంధాలు మరింత పెంచుతుందని అశ్విని వైష్ణవ్ ఆశాభావం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
