జమ్మూకాశ్మీర్ ఎల్లప్పుడూ భారత్లో అంతర్భాగమేనని ఐక్యరాజ్యసమితిలో భారతదేశ శాశ్వత ప్రతినిధి పర్వతనేని హరీష్ తెలిపారు. 80వ ఐక్యరాజ్యసమితి దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా శుక్రవారం ఏర్పాటు చేసిన బహిరంగ చర్చ సందర్భంగా ఐక్యరాజ్యసమితి భద్రతా మండలిలో పర్వతనేని హరీష్ ప్రసంగిస్తూ పాకిస్థాన్పై ధ్వజమెత్తారు. జమ్మూకాశ్మీర్ భారత్లో అంతర్భాగం అని.. విడదీయరాని బంధంగా ఉందని.. ఎల్లప్పుడూ ఉంటుందని తెలిపారు.

పాకిస్థాన్ చట్టవిరుద్ధంగా ఆక్రమించిన ప్రాంతాల్లో జరుగుతున్న తీవ్రమైన మానవ హక్కుల ఉల్లంఘనలను అంతం చేయాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. పాకిస్థాన్ సైనిక ఆక్రమణ, అణచివేత, క్రూరత్వం, వనరుల అక్రమ దోపిడీకి వ్యతిరేకంగా బహిరంగంగా తిరుగుబాటు చేస్తున్న ప్రాంతాల్లో మానవ హక్కుల ఉల్లంఘనలను అంతం చేయాలని కోరారు.

జమ్మూకాశ్మీర్ కేంద్రపాలిత ప్రాంతం అయినప్పటికీ భారత్లో అంతర్భాగం అన్నారు. ఆ ప్రాంత ప్రజలు తమ ప్రాథమిక హక్కులను వినియోగించుకుంటారని చెప్పారు. కానీ పాకిస్థాన్ వ్యాఖ్యానిస్తున్నట్లుగా పరాయి భావనలు తమకు తెలుసు అన్నారు. భారతదేశం వసుదైక కుటుంబం అన్నారు. వసుదైక కుటుంబం పట్ల భారతదేశం నిబద్ధత కలిగి ఉందని చెప్పారు. ప్రపంచాన్ని కూడా ఒకే కుటుంబంగా చూడటం అందరికీ న్యాయం, గౌరవం, శ్రేయస్సు అని హరీష్ వాదించారు.
