నేటి నుంచి రెండు రోజుల పాటు థాయ్‌లాండ్‌లో మోడీ పర్యటించనున్నారు. థాయ్‌లాండ్‌లో 6వ బిమ్‌స్టెక్‌(BIMSTEC Summit) శిఖరాగ్ర సమావేశంలో మోడీ పాల్గొనన్నారు. పర్యటనలో భాగంగా థాయ్లాండ్ ప్రధాని పేటోంగ్‌టార్న్‌ షినవత్రాతో కూడా భేటీ అయి ఇరు దేశాల ద్వైపాక్షిక సంబంధాలపై చర్చించనున్నారు. ఇక సాయంత్రం బిమ్‌స్టెక్‌ సదస్సులో మోడీ పాల్గొంటారు. ఈ సదస్సులో భారత్‌తో పాటు థాయ్లాండ్, బంగ్లాదేశ్, శ్రీలంక, నేపాల్, మయన్మార్, భూటాన్‌ దేశాల అధినేతలు పాల్గొననున్నారు. ఇక ఈ సదస్సులో సాంకేతిక, ఆర్థిక సహకారంపై చర్చించనున్నారు.
